MDSi Sales Associate Training Program
Are you passionate about technology? MDSi is looking for high energy, driven self-starters to join our sales organization where you will learn to sell some of the largest and best of breed technology brands in the IT industry.
Our sales program provides 18 months of hands-on training to develop and prepare you for your career in technology sales at MDSI. You will begin your career as a Sales Associate with a planned path to an Account Executive based on achieving pre-determined goals. We invest in your professional development by providing the tools, resources and leadership skills you need to become a trusted technology advisor that helps your customers drive decisions and achieve true business outcomes.
Build, grow, and maintain positive relationships with your customers - people do business with people they like
Educate, strategize, and successfully sell the industry’s top technology products, services and solutions over the phone and in person
Prospect for new customers through a high volume of outbound sales calls to effectively grow your book of business
Participate in email and call campaigns around MDSi’s and our strategic OEM partner’s offerings
Research current and potential customers and understand their business to better educate them on the value of working with MDSI
Consistently hit and exceed your daily metrics and monthly sales goals
Collaborate with coworkers, engineers, and partners to bring the best technology solutions to your customers
Learning and Growth:
Classroom Training: An introduction to MDSi’s extensive portfolio of products, services, and solutions through six weeks of instructor-led, interactive learning in the classroom making the transition from campus to career much easier.
OEM Partnerships: Our most strategic OEM channel account managers will meet with and work with you to help position and drive their solutions and instruct you in the latest offerings and tools. Engage in self-paced online OEM training.
Sales Training: Learn a practical sales methodology focused on positive business outcomes for your customers that will demonstrate your expertise and value add as a sales professional. Enhance and develop your presentation skills both in person and over collaboration tools/video.
Sales Mentorship: 6 -12 months of hands-on selling and training with one-on-one coaching while you begin to build your book of business. You will work directly with a dedicated advisor to strategically craft and build consultative relationships with customers and offer outcome-based solutions to meet their business requirements.
Self-motivated, driven, and passionate individuals looking to directly impact the business landscape through technology solutions
Passion for relationship building, creative problem-solving, and strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to demonstrate resiliency in adverse situations
Desire to learn, grow, and develop your skillset
General computer and e-mail proficiency
Ability to verbally communicate and develop lasting customer relationships
Authorization to work in the US; sponsorship is not available for this program
