Another major area of expense savings and time management is to tighten up the process associated with working with repaired parts.  The first service had to do with implementing a robust NTF/Level 1 repairs.  MDSi has found that a larger percentage of spares returns are NTF or a simple fix.  Presently MDSi’s percentage NTF/Level 1 repair is 70% to 90% depending on the platform. This has led to getting the average repair cost down significantly in our client base.
