Though the concept of a Reverse Logistics Program is very simple, its process is exacting. Historically, organizations have invested heavily in managing the front side of the supply chain. Unbeknownst, there is tremendous benefit in cost avoidance and significant savings in automating and formalizing the back end of the supply chain. Extracting the value of a product at the tail end of its life cycle is straight forward and very pragmatic.
