In many instances MDSi acts as the focal point for spares repair and forward deployment. MDSi has developed a systemic process where the company receives an electronic notification from the client and automatically puts the process in motion to complete the request and sends a response to the client detailing the action needed and that will take place.
MDSi then performs the IOU parts clearance from the returned part. This systemic process shortens the cycle and reduces shipping expense (expenditure).
In addition, MDSi provides electronic spares return reminders, timed escalation for non-recovered assets, and reporting for status.
In all cases, we have our recovery specialist available, if necessary, to assist the engineer in recovering the spare.
